Downtown's centre for health and fitness

The YMCA of Southern Interior BC is excited to offer a state-of-the-art health and fitness centre in the heart of downtown Kelowna. The Downtown YMCA is situated on the corner of St Paul and Doyle on the main floor of the Kelowna Community Health and Services Centre building. This centre supports the health and wellness of residents and employees in the downtown area in an approachable and friendly environment.

Photo ID Required for Entry

Individuals aged 19+ must present a Y Membership Card or valid piece of Photo ID to be granted entry to YMCA operated facilities (including H2O). If you are unable to present Photo ID, you will unfortunately not be permitted access.

Membership details

Membership Rates

Membership at the Y has no minimum term, joiner fee or cancellation fee. Monthly memberships are renewed each month on the day you signed up.

Please note that there are no child/youth programs at the Downtown Y and the Downtown Y does not have a child minding service. Children of Downtown Y members can attend programs at the Family Y.

Please do not bring children under 10 to the Downtown Y. Children 10 and 11 years of age must be under the supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. Visitors 12 to 16 years of age must complete an orientation session to use the fitness centre on their own.

$164/month or less

For great family value, families (maximum two adults) with children/youth never pay more than the cost of two adults and two dependents all living in the same household.

Tax not included in the prices above. Fees are subject to annual rate increases. Membership rates are effective from January 1, 2023.

Membership can be cancelled at any time and will remain active for the remainder of your payment cycle. Refunds will not be provided. Cancellations must be done in person or by emailing membership@ymcasibc.ca.
